A bit of a shock though, yeah?
Naturally interested to see what Liam does now.

HahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaHa.
Noel's success and power causes beady eye to split.
Liam will now need to beg for forgiveness.
What options does Liam now have?
Liam to join kasabian !

Kind of glad about this, tbh. As mentioned, Ride reform, Liam joins Death In Vegas, and Bones and Guigs gear up for the inevitable Oasis reunion.

I reckon Liam will do a solo record in the next couple of years. I think a lot of bands / artists would be interested in working with him. On record, his voice is still absolutely incredible.

2nd album sucked donkey balls. not surprised it dropped like a load stone. had a bit of time for the 1st album (although it was patchy). four letter word is me fav of the post oasis era. to coin a phrase "nothing ever lasts forever"

Don't think I'll ever get over the drop in expectations from hearing Flick Of The Finger to getting 3 tracks into that album and sitting through Face The Crowd (had to look it up the name on wikipedia since it's been long-deleted), that was the death knell. They'll probably go down as a bit of a barely remembered joke which'll be harsh as both albums had some very good tunes nestled amongst the (admittedly ample) dross, I still enjoy Flick Of The Finger, Second Bite Of The Apple, Sons Of The Stage, The Roller, The Beat Goes On and Bring The Light massively and there's 5 or 6 more like Shine A Light I would happily listen to right now if they came on shuffle. Ultimately their best tunes still match anything on Oasis's last 3 albums and dick on everything Noel will do for the rest of his life including any more children he may pretend to have fathered so suck on it haters cos BDI RULZ 4 LYF, B

World Outside My Room remains my favourite track, and still, a b-side. With Oasis it was fun but with Beady Eye and two half albums of filler it's actually really fucking annoying.
Liam could join any band he wants tbf. He could just do the odd collaboration and you know it'd be worth hearing. 2016: Liam Gallagher ft. Noel Gallagher & Thom Yorke.

Im surprised by this, really am. but very keen to hear what they do next all members but especially Liam. Between the two records theres one corker album, but the drop between the good and the bad was just horrible, there was some dull as hell stuff.
Its a shame they'll just be a footnote and a bit of a joke because their best songs and the talent of the guys deserves more. but, Ride reunion??
