Disagree.
Started a bit slow but picked up the pace as it went on. By the end, I was in pieces.

I like that they brought Andy back, too. Big Mad Andy "I'll drink this paint" "Punch me better"

Decent Crap Good OK OK
After the renaissance of the last couple of series it's all falling a bit flat again

Tonight's episode is called Quantocking II - revisiting one of their best ever episodes, if there's one thing about Peep Show, the finales are usually spot on, the shows at its best when there's a bit more dramatic weight to it

Just had a look at the synopsis for tonight's season finale and I can see it being a total cringe-fest.

Well that was pap (apart from the train scene) and caps off what has to be the worst series to date. Should have gone ahead with splitting the two of them up from the NYE episode. Mark with Dobby, Jez with Hans, maybe even have mixed it up and given Dobby and Hans inner monologues, cos that were stale as fook
Merry Christmas Peep Show fans

yep, shit episode, shit series. peep show is undoubtedly one of the great sitcoms, but it's got nothing left to give imo, the format has well and truly run its course. time for everyone to move on.

I dunno, I enjoyed that last episode. It didn't reach the heights of classic Peep Show (only one episode did this series IMO; the paint balling one) but it was good.
Jez with the snakes in the flat was funny, as was Mark trying to play 5 a-side and the stuff on the train. The whole scene with Mark & Jez electrocuting each other had me in stitches.

i couldn't be arsed watching after the second episode of this series. i often liked peep show a lot but could never really bring myself to love it. just don't think mark and jez are likeable people and dobby is a cunt. think i'm done with it now.

Yeah finally saw the last two episodes of the series and especially the last one was such a let down. Biggest problem for me is that SO much of it was a retread of old stuff - everything from his attempted cheating with that businesswoman (echoes of the sally slater episode), to bringing back Big Mad Andy for no apparent reason (why would they hire him again?), to the funeral bit (which admittedly was alright), to Jez having a thing for Dobbie (he briefly had a thing for Sophie and even slept with her)... all the way through to the final episode where it even acknowledged it was ripping itself off.
The bit where they were electrocuting each other was terrible, far too fucking slapstick for Peep Show. The first episode was pretty good as was the paintballing one though.
Only hope is the last series was actually very good, and I think this series suffered from having the story arc planned out for it from the last episode of the previous series so the writers had sort of boxed themselves into a corner. They've got another series contracted and I reckon that will be the last one as surely the writers must have noticed the drop off in quality themselves. Still, I guess Mark and Jez will be back to square one so here's hoping we have fewer stupid contrived situations and more classic Peep Show.

New series has been pretty good so far, really liked episode 3. "Hello resentment, my old friend. I've come to stoke you up again!"

Yeah I've enjoyed the first three episodes. I'm already cringing at the thought of the big season finale, whatever it might be.
