Time for a resurrection methinks.
Bet of the Weekend
Aston Villa to be at West Brom @ 6/5
WEst Brom have had a couple of excellent victories in the league in recent weeks but both wins were flattering and will come crashing back to earth this week.
Brunt and Odemwingie both look being non starters for West Brom and Villa see the return of Ashley Young and possibly reo-coker.
Ignore West Brom's last two league results and see that they have lost to Blackpool, Wigan, Stoke and Liverpool.
This should be a fairly comfortable victory for the Villains.
Everton to beat Wigan @ 1/2
Not a great price by any means but Wigan are hopeless and Everton looked fantastic in the second half last week. A reproduction of that will see an easy victory tomorrow.
If you don't like the 1/2 for a victory split your stakes between 3-0 and 4-0.
Arsenal to beat United @ 16/5
Evra's comments are probably the best team talk Wegner could've given. Plus Rio isn't a definite starter and if he isn't United will be weakened massively.
Difficult to overstate how important his partnership with Vidic is.
Plus RVP is back and raring to go, obviously he'll get injured before the new year but if he produces the magic to win this then all will be forgiven.
Stoke to beat Blackpool @ 4/6
Just looks a good price tbh. Blackpool's thin squad has to start feeling it soon. Mind you i've said that every week and they keep proving me wrong. And they've had two weeks off.
Hmmm..... reduced stakes then but Stoke should still win, innit?
LOWER LEAGUES
Bradford to beat Hereford
Every single time i back Bradford they fucking lose.
However they've just got a veritable RAFT of players back and their two excellent loan signings should've have had time to bed in.
Plus Hereford are shit.
If Bradford don't win this i'll never, ever bet lower than the Championship in my entire life.
Norwich to beat Portsmouth @ 15/13
Norwich are on fire and their lengthy injury list doesn't seem to be concerning them. Portsmouth are a weird side and have enough quality t trouble any side in this division but i reckon the Canaries will be singing come 5 o'clock.
Colchester to beat Yeovil @ 5/6
Yeovil are bottom of the league, concede and average of over two goals per away game and have just lost their two loan signings, Colchester are a place below the play offs.
Just on that i think 5/6 is a good price. Probably missing something though. That said they're as short as 4/7 with another firm so perhaps i'm not.
Yeah, that will do for now.
I always say don't back more than a double and this is good advice, however my budget is only £10 so £2 singles are basically not worth it.
Gone for 4 trebles and an ACCA @ £2.00 with
Arsenal, Everton, Villa and Norwich.
