joined both... head-to-head now has odd number of people . that doesn't matter, the odd person each week if there is one plays against the average score each week. I think thats the average score for every player in it (out of the two million, not the soapy league) if you arent beating that every week you are pretty bad.

Installed as joint favourite and winner of the pre-season Getup Cup sponsored by Meinby’s of Denmark Street, expecting big things from my team this season!

a little look at the stats say that krburg is actually the man to beat this season.

a little look at the stats say that krburg is actually the man to beat this season. Fuzzy Dunlops been inside the top 30,000 for the past 4 years whereas krburg has been hovering around the top 100,000 until last year. Young upstarts finally come of age or a Leeds United-shaped flash in the pan? Odds of 11/2 reflect this conundrum

It's the same principle as the head to head league and cup football in general though isn't it?

It's the same principle as the head to head league and cup football in general though isn't it? ish. the head to head you live to fight on another day and the best team should also be the most consistent, and so should finish highly at least. when I got knocked out of the fantasy cup I had a fair few players from my team not palying that weekend for various reasons, its not quite the same in real cup football, you'll always get 11 men on the pitch!

I didn't know where to look to check how our league was configured.

Ah so you're actually more clued up than the rest of us , rubbersoulman set up the league so going by what he said I think it's just a league all the way through, you could've ask him about changing it if you'd wanted but he seems to have fucked off

quote from rubbersoulman
"oh theres a question there about the format of the head to head fantasy league; I havent a clue, there might have been options when i set it up but I cant remember exactly, theres no way to change it now though, i had a little look."
